This project was designed and built specifically for AI. As the Lead Product Designer, I partnered closely with front-end engineers to bring a live, testable product to market, shaping everything from core functionality through to the underlying taxonomy.
From the outset, the experience was architected so AI could power discovery, recommendations, and future iteration. That meant designing not just screens, but the structures beneath them. How information was categorised, surfaced, and evolved over time. This work at Pearson reflects my approach to AI-enabled product design: grounding emerging technology in clear systems, usable interfaces, and real-world delivery.

I had to sift through a lot of feedback from stakeholders. Design feedback often got conflated with product feedback, and at first, I found it challenging to distinguish between actionable feedback for the current phase and suggestions for future iterations after presenting prototypes to leadership.
To address this, I decided to conduct a workshop to clarify what was feasible within our time constraints and what could be considered for future development. This took the form of an Impact Analysis workshop. Given the limited time, I transformed one of our review sessions into a workshop. The team was then able to prioritise high-impact tasks while acknowledging other additions that would require further exploration – Here you’ll see the first and second stages of this process.
